Fision KeraVeg18 is the vegetable alternative to animal keratin. This product combines wheat and soy amino acids with additional pure amino acids (of vegetable fermentation origin) to mimic the functional ratios in human hair amino acids. The high level of cysteine naturally present in wheat and the high ration of amine functional amino acids, especially lysine, in soy make the combination particularly suitable to approximate natural keratin. Additionally, inclusion of substantial amounts of beta-hydroxy amino acids, serine and threonine are necessary to bring the complement of 18 amino acids to form a non-animal vegetable keratin amino acid mixture.
