This mild shampoo formulation is based on a performance concentrate and is formulated to maximize the synergistic effects of anionic/amphoteric complexes, thus delivering full, high foam and mildness. PEG-150 Distearate is used to boost finished-product viscosity without the addition of salt.

Application: Baby Care

Formula Procedure

To the main vessel, add A. Mix and heat to 60°C. Add B to A with strong mixing but without aeration to ensure uniform dispersion. When batch is a homogeneous, clear solution, cool to 30°C (86°F). Add C to AB. Adjust pH to 6.0–7.0 with D (50% soln). Add E and F as desired. Mix until completely uniform. Stop cooling and mixing. Submit for final quality assurance testing. Note: Add more PEG-150 Distearate for higher finished-product viscosity. Characteristics (24°C): Appearance (without color or fragrance = clear, pale-golden liquid; Viscosity (RV4, 20 rpm) = 580; pH (as is) = 6.8.
